The Odyssey has also started strongly in international markets. According to Deadline, the film has earned nearly $40 million worldwide through its initial release and preview shows.
This total includes around $17.6 million from North American preview screenings and another $22.2 million from overseas markets. Trade experts believe the film is on track to comfortably cross the $200 million mark during its opening weekend.
