The show’s popularity seems to have reached even Bollywood stalwarts. Karan Johar revealed that he has watched the series and playfully compared it to his film Student of the Year. Taking a lighthearted jab, Johar reminisced about the days following SOTY’s release, when Indian audiences were split between rooting for Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
