The Taj Story Teaser Out: Paresh Rawal brought a thought-provoking teaser of his upcoming courtroom drama. In the video, the actor can be seen having some loud thoughts about one of the greatest monuments in the world, the Taj Mahal. While sitting opposite the monument, Rawal reflects on thoughts, “Taj Mahal is one of the greatest monuments of the world. For some, it is a tomb… and for some, it is a temple. What do you think, what is the story of it?” His words echoed the depth of the real story behind the monument, hinting at a layered exploration of history, faith and perception.
While sharing the trailer, the makers wrote on Instagram, “Every empire has a secret chamber. This October, the lock is about to break on the Taj Mahal’s biggest mystery. Dare to look inside? #TheTajStoryTeaser Out Now!”
What Is The Taj Story?
The courtroom drama talks about the controversial questions around the construction of Taj Mahal. The questions challenge conventional historical narratives about the historical monument. The Taj Story stars Paresh Rawal, Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Namit Das, Sneha Wagh, Shishir Sharma, Akhilendra Mishra, Brijendra Kala, Latika, Shrikant Verma, Garima Agarwal, Karamveer Choudhary, Vishwa Bhanu, Gauri Shankar, Börje Lundberg, Prateek Kumar and Roshni Bhagat in key roles. It has been written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel. The film has been backed by CA Suresh Jha. The cinematography of the film has been done by Satyajit Hajarnis. The music has been composed by Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dev Nath.
The Taj Story was officially announced in November 2023 while the makers shared it poster. Paresh Rawal confirmed his involvement in the project on May 28, 2024. The shoot was completed in November, last year. Almost a year after, the film is being releasing.
When Is The Taj Story Releasing?
The movie is all set to be released in theatres on October 31 in India. The movie aims to be a conversation starter, urging viewers to question, reflect and perhaps, reframe the way they see both history and freedom.
