TRP Ratings This Week: Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi first witnessed the highest TRP when Mihir Virani's death track was shown on TV. It became the most popular show on Star Plus. The TV show has been revived for a second season and has received the highest rating of any Hindi daily soap opera. The reboot version starring Mihir an Tulsi Virani has taken the top spot of Anupamaa. Let us inform you that Rupali Ganguly's show received a rating of 2.3 this week just like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi Season 2, which debuted on July 29 on Star Plus and JioHotstar, became the highest-rated Hindi GEC fiction launch (drama series or daily soap broadcast on Hindi-language General Entertainment Channels in India) in the previous five years, according to BARC data. Smirti Irani and Amar Upadhyay's TV show had a stellar debut of 2.3 television rating.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi BEATS Anupamaa
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi overtook Rupali Ganguly's Anupamaa, which had just dropped at 2.3, to take the second place. This can be considered a historic accomplishment in a fragmented TV landscape where the majority of fiction shows fall short of the 2 TVR threshold in their first week. The late-prime-time slot series is also streamed and airs on weekdays at 10.30 PM.

Colors TV's Mangal Lakshmi, Zee TV's Tumm Se Tumm Tak, and Star Plus's Udne Ki Aasha all earn a TVR of 1.7. Udne Ki Aasha must get back on its feet and regain its lost momentum, IWMBuzz quoted BARC data. Colors TV's Mangal Lakshmi-Lakshmi Ka Safar achieves a TVR of 1.6. Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile (Zee TV), Jagriti – Ek Nayi Subah (Zee TV), Kumkum Bhagya (Zee TV) and the Colors shows all receive a TVR of 1.3.
Meanwhile, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fans were filled with nostalgia as the show reunited Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay as Tulsi and Mihir Virani, along with a new generation of the Virani family.

With a strong emphasis on nostalgia, the reboot tried to appeal to viewers who enjoyed the early 2000s classic by bringing back popular characters and using the original theme tune. Additionally, the first episode honoured Savita Virani and Baa.
