TRP Week 35: The TRP ratings for Week 35 are finally here, and the results bring some surprising twists for television fans. This week, the festive season of Ganesh Chaturthi brought both ups and downs in viewership across different General Entertainment Channels (GECs). While overall numbers dipped slightly, some shows still held their ground and even made a strong comeback. At the very top, Rupali Ganguly’s Anupamaa continues to rule the charts, although it did record a slight drop in points. On the other hand, Bigg Boss 19 and Pati Patni Aur Panga, despite their hype, failed to secure a place in the top 10.
Top 10 TRP Shows – Week 35
Anupamaa (2.2)
Still the nation’s favourite, Anupamaa retained the top spot with 2.2 points, though slightly lower than last week’s 2.4. The ongoing storyline, focused on Anu and Raahi’s dance competition nearing its climax, has managed to keep viewers hooked.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (2.0)
The long-running sitcom made a big comeback this week, rising to the second spot with 2.0 points. Its timeless humour and loyal audience base continue to prove its unbeatable charm, even after so many years.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (1.9)
Starring Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit, YRKKH stood firm in third place. With Abhira’s release from jail and Kiara’s battle against drug addiction, the drama remains engaging despite a slight ratings dip.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 (1.8)
The reboot starring Smriti Irani slipped from second place to fourth. With its ratings dropping from 2.0 to 1.8 points, the show now faces tougher competition in its prime-time slot.

Tum Se Tum Tak (1.7)
Re-entering the top five, this drama starring Niharika Chouksey and Sharad Kelkar has won back audiences. Its gripping storyline and strong performances have given it an edge over Udne Ki Aasha.
Udne Ki Aasha (1.5)
While it dropped in the rankings, Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora’s family drama continues to hold interest with consistent storytelling.
Vasudha (1.3)
This social drama remains steady, placing seventh with 1.3 points. Its emotional storyline has helped it connect well with audiences.
Aarti Anjali Awashthi (1.2)
Though not a top performer, the show managed to grab the eighth position with 1.2 points, maintaining its steady niche among loyal viewers.
Mangal Lakshmi (1.2)
Once stronger on the charts, Mangal Lakshmi slipped to ninth place this week but continues to have a loyal audience.
Shiv Shakti Tap Tyaag Tandav (1.2)
Rounding off the top 10, this mythological drama stayed firm with 1.2 points, maintaining a stable viewership despite stiff competition.

Despite high expectations and plenty of buzz, both Bigg Boss 19 and Pati Patni Aur Panga failed to break into the top 10, ending up with only 1.2 points each. Their underwhelming performance shows how audience preferences continue to lean towards family dramas and established long-running shows, leaving the reality and new entrants struggling to keep up.
