Tu Yaa Main Update: Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor are set to begin work on the psychological thriller movie, directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Adarsh Gourav in an interview with Hindustan Times expressed his excitement about the project, saying, “I’m truly thrilled to start working on this film. It’s a completely different genre from what I’ve done before, and that’s what drew me to the project. Collaborating with Bejoy Nambiar, who has such a distinct cinematic voice, and sharing the screen with Shanaya Kapoor makes this even more special. I can’t wait for audiences to experience what we’re creating.”
Tu Yaa Main is expected to start shooting in the second week of June and will be shot extensively in and around Mumbai. The schedule is expected to wrap by mid July. Furthermore, as per reports, to prepare for his role, Adarsh Gourav has resumed intense physical training, similar to what he undertook for Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan (2023). The actor is taking his role seriously and is committed to delivering a memorable performance.

Meanwhile, the teaser of the movie was released in March this year, giving a glimpse of a story that moves back and forth between romance and thrills. It introduced Adarsh and Shanaya’s characters as social media influencers who can go to any extent to create content. They meet in the backwaters while creating content for their respective social media handles, but their banter soon turns into a survival game when they realise they are not alone in the water.

On the other hand, the movie is produced by Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow, which is the banner behind films such as Tumbbad and Haseen Dillruba. Alongside director Bejoy Nambia, the movie is written by Abhishek Bandekar. The movie marks Aanand L Rai's first collaboration with Bejoy Nambiar.
On the work front, Adarsh Gourav was last seen in SuperBoys Of Malegaon, which is currently streaming on Prime Video. The actor is set to make his Hollywood debut with the Alien: Earth movie. Tu Yaa Main will also mark the debut of Shanaya Kapoor in Indian cinema. The movie is scheduled to be released next year on Valentine's Day.
