Udit Narayan has been garnering love from the audience all over again since his hit track Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela is back in trend after it was used in Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. The song was initially a chartbuster when it was released in the 1997 movie Gupt. After it went viral on social media again, the singer shared his happiness about it being a timeless song. The impact has been huge in just few days, the original video of the song on YouTube hit 5 million views. On Instagram, people are watching reels related to the music all over again.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Udit Narayan talked about the song going viral on social media and said, “I always believed this song had something timeless about it. Seeing it come alive again after so many years feels very special.”

Udit Narayan originally sang the Viju Shah composition, which featured Bobby Deol. He said, “The melody and the lyrics are the biggest reason why this song still connects. It’s amasing to see that the new generation is loving it. It feels like they have discovered this song all over again.”

“I feel very happy when I see so many reels being made on this song. People are dancing, lip-syncing, enjoying it in their own way, it shows that good music never gets old,” the singer added.

Udit Narayan also said, “Songs like Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam and Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast are also doing very well again. I think it all comes down to melody. That’s what stays, across time and across generations of listeners.”

The singer reflected on his journey with the track. He said, “When I was recording it, there was so much energy in the studio, and I could feel this song would be special. I didn’t know how big it would get, but I knew it carried something unique.”
