Karan Johar’s OTT game show The Traitors crowned Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther as its winners on July 3, 2025. The duo defeated standup comedian Harsh Gujral and managed to grab the winner’s title. Uorfi and Nikita took home the prize money of Rs. 70.05 lakh. However, the fashion influencer has been receiving a lot of backlash after her win. Following the extreme public scrutiny, Uorfi penned a note on her Instagram and shared a couple of screenshots showing the derogatory DMs she has been receiving.

Uorfi Javed’s bold caption read, “When you don’t like something a girl does, just drop the ‘R’ word. Not the first time I’ve been threatened or abused like this but this time it’s not because of my clothes but because I won a show. Imagine being so petty that when your favourite player doesn’t win you resort to abusing and threatening. These are the most decent ones I uploaded. No matter what I do, people just love hating and abusing. Harsh ko na Nikalti toh Pyar me andhi, harsh ko nikal Diya toh dhokhebaaz. Purav ko Jeetne deti toh bewakoof, nahi jeetne diya toh cheater . As soon as the content creator shared the post on her social media, netizens were quick to react. People supported Uorfi and expressed their anger over the derogatory remarks. Expressing its love, a user wrote, “Aah so much hate but just ignore them and sending you a big hug lysm!!” Another user wished her well and said, “You deserve every bit of success and happiness.”

A third user expressed its anger and wrote, “Its just a game. Stop making humans feel miserable for a game. Watch series and move on. That's the whole purpose of it.” Even Purav Jha, who was a contestant on the show, extended his support to Uorfi and wrote, “Wtf?? Tu enjoy kar darling you are winner mat dhyan de.”
