Aditya Dhar directed movie Dhurandhar’s craze refuses to settle down. After making waves at the box office, the movie made fans deep-dive into the minute details, which made them hail Dhar’s eye for detail and perfection. Along with the movie’s storyline and star-studded cast, its songs also did not fail to strike a chord with the audience. The song, Rambha Ho, which is a rehashed version of Usha Uthup and Bappi Lahiri’s original song, Rambha Ho Samba Ho, gained immense love from the viewers. Recently, Usha Uthup came forward to laud the song and express her take on the revamped version of the song.
Veteran singer Usha Uthup, who is known for her power-packed songs like Darling, Vande Mataram, Hari Om Hari and others, shared her take on the revamped version of her most-loved song Rambha Ho, Sambha Ho. The singer revealed that she was sent a link to the new version of the song and she felt very happy upon listening to it. In a conversation with Radio Nasha, she said, “Somebody sent me the link. So I said, ‘Wow, what is this? It’s fabulous.’ I am not one of those people who feel bad that somebody else sang this. I am very happy.”
Usha Uthup also talked about how the song has a chokehold over the audience all over again. She added, “For it to come back with a bang is amazing. This proves what I always believed in and what I say is that the song is bigger than the singer.”

The singer further reminisced over how the song was released over 4 decades ago and shared, “I am so grateful to god. My god, it has been 40 years since Rambha Ho was released and I have been singing the song for so many years at my shows, but for it to come back with such a bang, you know, it’s really amazing. And ofcourse Madhuanti has also sung it beautifully. She has sung it very well.”
