Dharmendra Deol Health Update: Veteran actor Dharmendra, set to turn 90 on December 8, 2025, is presently hospitalised at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. The actor, celebrated for his recent role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, had undergone an eye graft surgery back in April. A viral clip of him walking out of the hospital that had previously sparked concern among his fans. Now, recent reports now suggest that Dharmendra has been placed on a ventilator.

According to a report in NDTV, he is placed on ventilator support after being hospitalised over a week ago following complaints of breathlessness. Meanwhile, his wife, Hema Malini, was seen at the airport earlier this month after his hospitalisation. When asked by reporters, “Sir kaise hain (how is sir),” the 'Dream Girl' actress simply responded with an "okay" gesture before folding her hands in gratitude. A video of this moment is circulating on social media, prompting an outpouring of well wishes from fans.

Meanwhile, starting his career in 1960 with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere, Dharmendra initially played roles portraying the common man throughout the 1960s in films like Anpadh, Bandini, Anupama, and Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke. He subsequently transitioned to playing lead roles in popular movies such as Sholay, Dharam Veer, Chupke Chupke, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, and Dream Girl.

Currently, Dharmendra is gearing up for Ikkis, which also stars Agastya Nanda in lead role. Ikkis is based on the true, untold story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who became the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military honor. He was posthumously awarded the decoration for his sacrifice during the 1971 Indo-Pak war at the age of just 21. The movie is scheduled for a December release this year.
