Veteran Tamil actor Rajesh has passed away. From making his acting debut in the critically acclaimed Tamil movie Aval Oru Thodarkathai to acting in over 150 Tamil movies, Rajesh is one of the biggest names in the industry. He also appeared in Malayalam, Telugu and other South movies. Fans and celebs paid tribute to the late actor with their heartfelt condolences. South megastar Rajinikanth took to X and condoled the demise of his 'close friend'.

Rajinikanth wrote on X, "The news of the untimely death of my close friend, actor Rajesh, shocks me and causes me great heartache. A wonderful man, may his soul rest in peace.My deepest condolences to his family and friends. #ActorRajesh."

Indian actress Radikaa Sarathkumar took to X and wrote, “Deeply shocked and sudden to hear of #rajesh s unexpected demise. Shared so many movies together and had a deep respect to his wide knowledge of cinema and life, will be missed by family, friends and film fraternity. #RIP.”

He studied in various places including Dindigul, Vadamadurai, Melanatham and Chinnamanur. Later, he attended Alagappa College in Karaikudi for PUC and later joined Pachaiappas College but didn’t complete his education.
