War 2 Box Office Collection Day 3: War 2 had a great third day despite fierce opposition from Rajinikanth's Coolie because of festive long weekend. Following the first two days, the action sequel had a notable decline. Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR led movie brought in almost Rs 33 crore across all languages on first Saturday. Ayan Mukerji's directorial is expected to bring in Rs 150 crore by Sunday.

War 2 made Rs 57.35 crore on Friday after opening at Rs 52 crore. According to the most recent Sacnilk report, the total three-day receipts for the Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR-led film now total Rs 142.6 crore. On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the spy thriller's overall Hindi occupancy rate was 31.42%. The Telugu version of the movie is doing well after the Hindi version.

War 2 has made Rs 164 crore (gross) in three days, and by the conclusion of the long weekend, it should have grossed Rs 200 crore. Given the star power and potential, these numbers ought to have been exceeded in two or no more than three days, but regrettably, that hasn't happened.

War 2 vs Coolie

Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie, which commemorated the 50th anniversary of Thalaivar in the film business, was the other major release on August 14. Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde make brief appearances in the Tamil movie, which also stars Nagarjuna and Shruti Haasan. Coolie made Rs 38.50 on its first Saturday and has already made Rs 158.25 crore in India. The South action movie is a little ahead of the Hindi sequel.

War 2 Budget

War 2, the sequel to the 2019 movie War, is Yash Raj Films' production and Ayan Mukerji's director. It is said to have a budget of between Rs 300 and Rs 400 crore.

War 2 Plot

Kabir Dhaliwal, the former intelligence operative, is the main character of the story. He goes rogue and becomes a serious national security concern. A special units officer named Vikram Chelapathi is tasked with tracking him down since he suspects him of being hurt. Kiara Advani, Ashutosh Rana, and Anil Kapoor play important roles in the film in addition to the major performers Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.
