As the news of Dharmendra’s health continued to grab headlines, several old videos have been circulating on social media. One among them is when the veteran actor gives an electrifying performance at the stage of IIFA. In the clip, Dharmendra can be seen shaking legs with his two sons-Sunny and Bobby Deol, on the hit song Yamla Pagla Deewana. The video has been widely going viral on social media and has created a buzz. Hema Malini and Esha Deol can be seen flattered by Dharmendra’s performance and were smiling throughout the video.

The video is from the IIFA 2011 event. The organiser of the award show has shared the video on their Instagram handle and wrote, “Throwback to IIFA 2011, where the legendary Deol family, Dharmendra ji, Sunny Deol & Bobby Deol, set the stage on fire with their iconic performance!” Fans react to the video and shared their views on it. A user said, “Allah lambi umr de Dharmendra sir ko.” Another wrote, “Long live Dharamaji and SunnyJi.” A comment read, “May you live long Dharm uncle.. God bless you a good health.” Another user wrote, “One and only dharam ji jinka tuta phuta dance bhi logon ke career jyada hot h love you dharam sir, recover soon.” A netizen commented, “In childhood sirf naam dekh kr movie dekhte they ki dharmendra sir hai to achhi hii hogi.” Another wrote, “Love you Dharam Sir.our greek God n most beautiful human beings.”

Dharmendra was discharged from Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning. His family, Sunny and Bobby chose to take care of him at home. “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7.30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to give him treatment at home," Dr Pratit Samdani told PTI.

Hours later, Sunny Deol also issued a statement, which read, “Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you.”
