BTS' Suga military discharge date: BTS' Jimin and Jungkook have returned from the military and ARMYs are in a celebration mode. While RM and V were discharged from the military on June 10, Jin and Jhope returned a few months back. Why Is Suga's military service longer than his fellow BTS members?

Suga's military service is a bit longer than his fellow BTS members due to his service as a public service worker. Due to his shoulder surgery which he had in 2020, Suga aka Min Yoongi was deemed unfit for regular combat duty.

It is pertinent to note that the Kpop idol started his military service earlier than his bandmates.

BTS' Suga's Military Service Timeline

Min Yoongi enlisted as a public service worker on September 22, 2023. He is expected to discharge on June 21, 2025.

As a public service worker, Suga's service duration is different from the standard 18-21 month military service, with some reports indicating a longer service time.

Suga's initial enlistment as a public service worker was before his basic training, leading to a slightly different timeline compared to his bandmates.

ARMYs Await OT7 Reunion

ARMYs are anticipating OT7 reunion and the wait will end soon when Suga will join his bandmates and return from military. The comeback is said to be grand as there are several projects lined up for the BTS members as a group.

While V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, RM and Jin have returned from military, Suga's public service will continue until June 21, making him one of the last members to finish their service.
