BTS members Jimin and Jungkook were released from military duty a day after RM and V. Like the other members of BTS, the two were also greeted with bouquets. Only SUGA, one of the seven BTS members is still serving, who will finish on June 21, 2025.

BTS Jimin and Jungkook reached Gyeonggi Province's Yeoncheon Public Stadium, where they welcomed reporters and supporters in the absence of a formal ceremony. Many admirers gathered to celebrate their return, despite the early hour. Their fans cheered the loudest as they walked with flower bouquet.

BTS Jimin and Jungkook, who had been a little shy in front of the cameras for a while, saluted sharply and said with pride, 'Dan-gyeol!' which is a Korean military term meaning solidarity. In fact, the two spoke to the media as he left the military facility in their first post-discharge address.

Jeon Jungkook said, "It's been so long since I've been in front of the camera, I'm embarrassed. I don't know what to say... Seniors, juniors..and executives who have worked harder than anyone else, thank you for working hard for us. I'm so grateful to them for taking such good care of us."

Park Jimin added, "Thank you to the fans who came from far away to see us. It's been a long time from COVID to the military, so thank you for waiting. Since I was discharged today, I think we can continue to draw the picture we were drawing from now on. There were so many things. I will gradually organise them and share them in a fun live."

Jimin also reflected back at their time in the military and disclosed that it isn’t an easy place. "We suffered together, learned a lot, ate together, and slept outside together, and I gained a lot of respect. I will hold these memories in my heart and cherish them for a long time. If I may say this to the people, the military wasn't an easy place. There are so many people who are having a hard time. If you see soldiers on the street, I think they would be grateful if you could give them a warm hug, even if it's just briefly," he shared.
