Who Is Aaishvary Thackeray? Director Anurag Kashyap is gearing up to launch Aaishvary Thackeray, Shiv Sena’s founder, late Balasaheb Thackeray's grandson, in his upcoming movie Nishaanchi. Before entering the world of acting, Aaishvary made headlines for allegedly dating actress Alaya F. This will be Aaishvary’s debut movie as a lead actor, as he comes from a political background. 

Reportedly, Aaishvary Thackeray has been polishing his craft and preparing for his grand Bollywood debut for the past five years. His journey in the industry began by becoming an assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his popular movie Bajirao Mastani in 2015.

Aaishvary holds a very low presence on social media, with just 11 thousand followers on Instagram. He has only 5 posts, the latest one being the announcement of Nishaanchi. Aside from his Instagram posts, he has also been tagged in several dance videos displaying his exceptional dancing skills.

Apart from being a good dancer, Aaishvary is into fitness. Many videos featuring him are available on Instagram, which shows how he prioritises his fitness routine for a well-built physique. The debutant has not only been in the news for his good looks but also for his dating life. According to several reports, Aaishvary was dating actress Alaya F as the duo was spotted partying together in 2021. Alaya also posted a series of pictures featuring Aaishvary in some of them, which generated a lot of buzz online.

On June 16, 2025, Amazon MGM Studios took to Instagram to announce that their upcoming theatrical release, Nishaanchi, will come out on September 19, 2025. The caption read, "Lights Camera Action. Yeh fillam dekhne ke liye taiyyar ho jao (Get ready to watch this film). #Nishaanchi, releasing at a theatre near you, September 19”. Along with Aaishvary Thackeray, the movie also features Vedika Pinto, Monika Panwar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Kumud Mishra.
