Dhurandhar: The Revenge has enthralled audiences across the nations because of its clever storyline, surprising turns, perfect background score, and outstanding cast performances. Ever since its theatrical premiere on March 19 2026, the second part of the Aditya Dhar-directed spy thriller has dominated the news. The filmmaker has given each character in the movie a distinct role, and some of them were loosely based on real-life characters. Rakesh Bedi's Jameel Jamali, who was allegedly inspired by Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol, is currently one of the most talked-about characters.

Who Is Pakistani Politician Nabil Gabol?

Nabil Gabol is a well-known tribal chief of the Gabol tribe in Lyari, Karachi, and a seasoned politician from Pakistan. He was born on November 16, 1962, and as of March 2026, he is sixty-three. According to reports, Nabil presently represents the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the NA-239 Karachi South-I seat as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA).

Nabil Gabol served several terms in the National Assembly (2002–2015 and 2024–present). Additionally, from 2008 to 2011, he was Pakistan's 16th Prime Minister, Yousaf Raza Gillani's Minister of State for Ports and Shipping. His distinction as the youngest Deputy Speaker of the Sindh Assembly from 1993 to 1996 is part of his excellent political career.

Nabil Gabol REACTS To Jameel Jamali's Role In Dhurandhar 2

In the past, Nabil Gabol made a reel on the songs from Dhurandhar and relished the recognition he gained from the spy movie. However, he has been dissatisfied with Jameel Jamali's representation since the release of the sequel. The Pakistani politician is reportedly 'in panic' and 'hiding' after it was revealed that the character he was supposed to have inspired was actually an Indian spy.

Nabil Gabol responded angrily in response to Jameel Jamali's final scene, claiming that the producers damaged his reputation by sharing false news. According to greatandhra.com, he voiced concerns. "It's not me. Don't believe whatever is depicted in the film. It's a crooked attempt by Indian filmmakers to deliberately distort and malign my character. But that's not me."

Nabil Gabol joked that he didn't have the money to sue the Dhurandhar producers abroad, despite his intense displeasure with the character that was loosely based on him.
