Haryanvi singer and performer Pranjal Dahiya recently found herself at the centre of online attention after a video from one of her live shows went viral on social media. The clip shows the artist stopping her performance midway to confront alleged inappropriate behaviour by a member of the audience, sparking a wider conversation about respect and safety for performers at public events.
According to reports, the incident took place during a live stage performance when a man from the crowd allegedly behaved in an improper manner. Visibly disturbed by the situation, Pranjal Dahiya chose not to ignore it. She stopped singing and addressed the audience directly, urging them to behave responsibly. In the viral video, she can be heard telling the crowd, "You people should think that your sister and daughter are standing here, so behave properly." Turning her attention to the elderly man, she added firmly, "Tau (uncle), I'm your daughter's age. Please control." Her words were met with loud reactions from the audience, with many applauding her for speaking up.

Apart from calling out the individual, Pranjal also appealed to the wider crowd to maintain order. Several reports suggest that some attendees were trying to climb onto the stage, adding to the chaos. The singer requested the audience to cooperate so that the event could continue smoothly. She was heard saying, "Sir, please stay away from the stage for a while, our performance is still left. Enjoy freely, but please cooperate with us a little too." She also reiterated that she was there to entertain but stressed that respect should never be compromised.
