Dhurandhar On OTT: After a thunderous theatrical run, Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s Dhurandhar has finally made its digital debut. The film premiered on Netflix on January 30, 2026, and fans were eager to revisit the action-packed drama from the comfort of their homes. However, the excitement quickly turned into disappointment as several viewers took to social media to express their frustration over the film’s altered colour grading on OTT.
Soon after the film began streaming, social media platforms, especially X (formerly Twitter), were flooded with reactions criticising the film’s visual presentation. One angry viewer tweeted, "Netflix literally sucked the life out of them like what's with this color grading LIKE THE SHEER DISRESPECT TO THIS MASTERPIECE ! it deserved the richness, the depth, the theatrical glow… not this washed-out compromise. #DhurandharOnNetflix." Another tweet read, "DESATURATED COLORS of Dhurandhar movie on NETFLIX colors look very desaturated on ott print, i verified both SDR and HDR. Both looks desaturated. Idk whats the possible reason."
Dhurandhar OTT Review
This quality feels like a theatre record print. Worst OTT release ever by Netflix. Why they ruined the colours? Looking like a YRF SPY UNIVERSE film shot with Yellow palette ! #Dhurandhar

Netflix has fucked up the watching experience of Dhurandhar. They are censoring an A rated movie on OTT, by muting dialogues, trimmed 10 mins of footage from theatrical release. Shame on you @NetflixIndia. Even ANIMAL is uncensored on Netflix,What's the problem with DHURANDHAR?

They censored everything and not the uncut version 🤮
Apart from the colour grading controversy, there was also earlier speculation that Dhurandhar was trimmed by nearly nine minutes for its OTT release. Addressing these claims, a source told Pinkvilla that the filmmakers had submitted the film to Netflix without any edits or cuts. According to the report, the version delivered to Netflix fully complied with the platform’s technical requirements and mandates. As of now, Netflix has not released an official statement regarding the alleged colour grading changes or runtime concerns.
Dhurandhar Box Office Report
Despite streaming on Netflix, Dhurandhar continues to perform well in theatres. As per Sacnilk data, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 835.85 crore at the global box office, cementing its place as one of the biggest releases of the year. Directed on a grand scale and led by Ranveer Singh’s powerful performance alongside Akshaye Khanna, Dhurandhar remains a crowd favourite.
