Ye Maaya Chesave Re-Release: Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya, who were once together, met while filming Ye Maaya Chesave. The two fell in love whilst filming the romantic drama. After dating for some time and being married in 2017, the couple filed for divorce in 2021.

Ye Maaya Chesave is finally getting a re-release after all these years. Following the extremely successful release of Telugu language drama, Samantha Ruth Prabhu became well-known. The pair's reunion for the promotional tour was anticipated by fans, but she has already stated that she has no plans to do so 'at all.'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was questioned in an interview with Bollywood Hungama if she and her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya will be promoting the movie before its July 18 re-release. She said, "No, I am not promoting Ye Maaya Chesave with anyone. In fact, I’m not promoting the film at all."

Samantha Ruth Prabhu added, "I don’t know where this talk is coming from. Maybe fans of the film want to see the lead pair together. But one can’t live one’s life through the audience’s lensing of life," she added.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu fondly recollected her early memories from the filming, even though she distanced herself from the re-release promotions. She disclosed that the now-famous gate scene, in which her character Jessie first meets Karthik (played by Chaitanya), was her very first shot for the movie.

She lauded Gautham Vasudev Menon, the director, saying that working with someone who understood exactly how he wanted the characters to appear on screen was a great experience.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu got three tattoos honoring Chaitanya and their journey together when they were dating. The 'YMC' tattoo on her upper back, which paid homage to the movie where their love first started, was one of the most noticeable.
