The makers of Ikkis have released a deeply emotional one-minute clip featuring Dharmendra reciting his final poem, Aj Bhi Ji Karda Hai, Pind Apne Nu Jaanwa, only days after his passing. The poen has struck a powerful chord with fans, who continue to mourn his loss. Shared shortly after the veteran actor’s funeral and prayer meet, the video is being embraced as a heartfelt and fitting farewell to Bollywood’s beloved “He-Man”.

In the poem, Dharmendra is heard saying, "The poem, titled Aj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa, which means, "I still long to return to my village," reflecting Dharmendra’s deep yearning for his roots. In it, he recalls the simple joys of home—bathing in the pond alongside cattle, playing kabaddi with childhood friends and reliving moments from his younger days. He describes village life as unmatched in its warmth and purity and ends the verse with a touching line expressing how much he misses his mother.

Maddock Films took to Instagram and wrote in caption, "Aj bhi ji karda hai, pind apne nu jaanwa. Dharam Ji was a true son of the soil and his words carry the essence of that soil. This poem by him is a yearning; a tribute from one legend to another. Thank you for gifting us this timeless verse."
