Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s son, Aarav Bhatia, turned 23 years old today, September 15. He is away from showbiz and studying abroad, pursuing a career. His proud parents celebrated the occasion with special posts on their respective social media handles. Akshay revealed how his son beats him in arguments on tech and fashion, making him feel like a sidekick. The Jolly LLB 3 actor can't believe Aarav has grown up so quickly.

Akshay Kumar Pens Special Birthday Wish For Aarav

Taking to Instagram, Akshay shared a smiling selfie with Aarav along with a note. His post read, “Happy 23rd, Aarav! When I was twenty three I was learning to beat up people on screen… it’s a strange feeling now to see you beat me everyday right from tech to fashion to arguments on the dinner table. Dekhte hi dekhte itna bada ho gaya hai yaar tu…you make me feel like a proud sidekick in my own story. Love you beta. Cheers to the best 23 years of my life because they’ve been with you.”

Twinkle Khanna also shared a post, which read, “And he turns 23. Though I have an undeniable compulsion to hold on to him, it would be wise to remember that children are like the air stored in our lungs, in our custody for just a moment before the next exhalation. This may not be an entirely correct analogy because unlike breaths we can’t keep popping babies in and out constantly, but you get the point right :) Here’s to the birthday boy. May he continue filling the world with his inate kindness.”

Aarav Bhatia is making his own career choices, seemingly staying away from acting legacies carved by his late grandfather, Rajesh Khanna, grandmother Dimple Kapadia and his parents- Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna. He is studying fashion design in London.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay is gearing up for his upcoming movie Jolly LLB 3, which is set to hit theatres on September 19. Twinkle, on the other hand, is coming up with a talk show, titled Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. The show will premiere on Prime Video on September 25th.
