Ajay Devgn, one of Bollywood’s most iconic action stars, is well known for performing in movies like Singham, Raid, Azaad, and Drishyam, among others. His fearless screen presence is deeply rooted in the influence of his father, the legendary action director Veeru Devgan. On the occasion of his father's birth anniversary today, the Singham star penned a heartfelt tribute in his memory.

Ajay shared a nostalgic throwback photo with his father on Instagram and wrote, "You saw the hero in me… long before the world did. Happy Birthday dad. Miss you always." Meanwhile, Veeru Devgan's powerful legacy in Bollywood action and his constant support played a crucial role in shaping Ajay’s path as a leading action hero. Though the veteran stunt coordinator passed away on 27th May 2019 at the age of 84, his legacy continues through Ajay's incredible journey in Indian cinema.

Veeru Devgan was a pioneer in stunt choreography in Bollywood, having worked on over 200 Hindi movies. Widely respected as one of the best action coordinators of his time, he led and trained a dedicated team of stuntmen, creating thrilling fight sequences for top stars in the industry. One of his most iconic contributions was the legendary stunt from Ajay’s debut film Phool Aur Kaante, where Ajay performs a full split standing on two moving motorcycles. That stunt, choreographed by his father, became a defining moment in Ajay’s career and is still remembered fondly by fans.
