Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri starred newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda and became a massive hit primarily due to its universally acclaimed soundtrack. The musical album, crafted by a diverse group of composers including Tanishk Bagchi, Mithoon, Faheem Abdullah, Arslan Nizami, Vishal Mishra, and Sachet-Parampara, featured soulful vocals from famous singers like Arijit Singh, Jubin Nautiyal, Shreya Ghoshal, and Shilpa Rao among others. Saiyaara’s title track reached fans on a global level and got a spot on Spotify's Viral 50 Global chart. Fans hailed the music compositions and requested the extended album of the movie.

Mohit Suri's directorial Saiyaara emerged as a hit musical romantic drama. To build anticipation, Mohit Suri adopted a unique marketing strategy and kept the debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda away from major promotions, letting audiences see their fresh chemistry for the first time on screen. His idea paid off, as the film broke records for a debutant-led movie and went on to become one of the highest-grossing Indian romantic films of all time.
