Earlier this year, Glen Powell’s ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris openly talked about their breakup and addressed the romance rumours brewing between Glen Powell and his co-star Sydney Swreney at the time. The couple, who was in a three-year-long relationship, faced turbulence when Glen started shooting for his Netflix movie Anyone But You alongside actress Sydney Sweeney. Their viral cosy photos and extra comfortable public appearances led to several speculations of them being together. This apparently caused a storm in Glen’s relationship with Gigi. The supermodel accused him of not being accountable enough towards their relationship and seemed quite upset with him. All this while, the Hit Man actor maintained a low profile and didn’t pay much attention to the buzz revolving around his breakup.

Now, Glen Powell has finally addressed his former girlfriend’s accusations and opened up about what he felt for the model. The actor, during a recent interview with GQ, mentioned that he didn’t ‘exactly agree’ with Gigi and shared, “I will always have nothing but love for her and respect for her. Everybody’s always going to have their own narrative on things and all that. And she’s welcome to it. Relationships are really hard. And when two people break up, they each go to their own brunch and they will each tell their own narrative.”

Glen Powell candidly revealed that his good friend and mentor, Tom Cruise helped him navigate through those tough times. Tom’s advice seemed to be beneficial for Glen, as he shared, “He basically said, ‘Hey, it’s going to get really, really loud. It’s your job to just turn the volume down. Just remember, you have your hand on that switch. You have your hand on the ability to turn up that noise or turn it down.’ And really just turning down the noise and trusting your own gut has been a real godsend for me.”
