Actor Glen Powell’s ex-girlfriend Gigi Paris recently opened up during a podcast episode about her high-profile split with the actor. She also expressed how Glen’s cheating rumours with his ‘Anyone but You’ costar Sydney Sweeney affected their relationship. The couple made headlines in 2020 after being spotted enjoying a cosy vacation together. Gigi and Glen made their relationship official in 2021 and stayed together for three years. However, in 2023, they faced some ups and downs in their relationship, mainly because of two reasons.

Gigi Paris and Glen Powell were stuck in a long-distance relationship as the actor was shooting for his movie Anyone but You in Australia. The couple also experienced a rough patch during this time due to the wild rumours that surfaced, claiming Glen’s affair with his costar Sydney Sweeney. Giving more insights into their relationship, the model recently got candid during an episode of Emma Klipstein’s Too Much podcast.

Gigi Paris opened up about the speculations at that time and said, “I could either pretend like I was going along with everything and have everyone wonder, like, ‘Are they hooking up? Are they not hooking up? Is she okay with this? What the f***?’ Or stand up for myself and say, ‘No, I’m actually not okay with this, and I’m walking away.’ So that’s what I decided to do… I was shattered.”

On being asked about whether she ever got any closure from Powell, Gigi explained an incident when she was supposed to visit him in Australia. She told the host that he asked her not to come as he and the producers thought it wouldn't be right for the shooting of his movie. “And that’s when I hung up. And I was like, this motherf***** is done to me. I think that’s where I just also fell out of love… I was like, where the f*** are your balls to stand up for yourself?” she said.

Shedding some more light on the actual reason behind breaking up with Glen, Gigi revealed, “Like, don’t make an a** out of me. Like, just don’t make a fool out of someone you’ve been with for over three years, talking about forever with.” She further added, “I gotta walk away. What su*** was how it was handled. I felt like I was just fed to the dogs.” Gigi also expressed that the lack of respect and the willingness to take a stand for their relationship was offputting and gave more clarity to make a solid decision.
