Nick Jonas recently opened up about his wife, Priyanka Chopra, in an interview with E! News, praising her as a "world-class" scene partner. The singer-actor, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film The Good Half, shared insights into how the couple stays creatively engaged at home.
Nick expressed his admiration for the film, stating, "I loved the script the moment I picked it up. The story as a whole, the family dynamics and how funny it was really drew me in. It's obviously a pretty heavy subject matter, but oftentimes in life, I feel like that is what happens—you end up laughing, so you don't cry."
When asked about Priyanka's influence on his work, Nick responded, "I've got a pretty good scene partner at home. By pretty good, I mean, like, world-class. We don't often do scene work together, but we talk about characters. It's great to stay creative at home, and then you can bring that into the workspace."
The Good Half is a comedy-drama directed by Robert Schwartzman and features a star-studded cast, including Brittany Snow, David Arquette, Alexandra Shipp, Matt Walsh and Elisabeth Shue. Priyanka, ever the supportive spouse, recently shared the film's poster on her Instagram stories, expressing her excitement with the caption, "Can't wait! #TheGoodHalf," while tagging Nick.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in a grand Christian and Hindu ceremony at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace on December 1 and 2, 2018. The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy in January 2022.
Priyanka has also been busy with her projects. She recently wrapped up filming for The Bluff, directed by Frank E. Flowers. The film, set in the 19th-century Caribbean, tells the story of a former female pirate, portrayed by Priyanka, who must protect her family when her past catches up to her. Produced by Russo Brothers' AGBO Studios and Amazon MGM Studios, the movie promises an exhilarating adventure. In addition to The Bluff, Priyanka is set to star in Heads of State alongside John Cena and Idris Elba, further showcasing her versatility as an actor.
