Over the years, Nick Jonas has embraced Indian traditions with great enthusiasm. Since their wedding in 2018, he has taken part in several festivals, often sharing glimpses online. Priyanka Chopra has often spoken about how important family and tradition are in her life. In a recent interview, she fondly remembered her late father, Ashok Chopra, who passed away in 2013 after battling cancer. She shared that she wished he had met Nick and their daughter, Malti Marie. Priyanka described Nick as exactly the kind of person her father would have chosen for her, especially because of his deep connection to music.
The couple married in December 2018 at the stunning Umaid Bhawan Palace, in ceremonies that blended both Christian and Hindu traditions. Their wedding received global attention for its grandeur and cultural significance. In 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, via surrogacy.
