Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas attended the 2023 Met Gala together and reminisced about their first encounter, seven years before, at the same event. During an interview on the Met Gala's red carpet, Nick spoke about his first meeting with Priyanka and revealed that he helped her while walking up the stairs at the event.
At the Met Gala 2023 red carpet, Priyanka Chopra donned an exquisite black off-shoulder gown, featuring a thigh-high slit and impressive bell sleeves. To complement the regal sleeves of her dress, she wore matching white gloves, while Nick looked sharp in a black leather jacket. Priyanka also accessorised with an 11-carat diamond necklace and kept her hairstyle elegant with a simple side-parted bun.
During an interview with Vogue Magazine on the Met Gala red carpet, Priyanka and Nick discussed how they first met at the event in 2017 and the sentimental significance it holds for them.
When asked if attending the Met Gala was a romantic night out for them, Nick acknowledged that it was, and reflected on how the event marked the beginning of their love story several years prior. "It is, and for us it was like the beginning of our love story. Six, seven years ago. And, here we are now," he said.
Priyanka also added, "We walked the carpet, my first Met, and Nick was kind enough to escort' me on behalf of Ralph Lauren at that time." "I was just there to manage her train!" Nick quipped at the end to which Priyanka couldn't stop laughing.
