Abhishek Bachchan is set to stun the audience with a never-before-seen performance in Shoojit Sircar's highly anticipated film, I Want To Talk. Interestingly, director Sircar revealed that the role was initially intended for the late Irrfan Khan, a veteran actor known for his exceptional talent. Sircar expressed satisfaction with Abhishek's portrayal, stating, "Abhishek came quite close to what Irrfan would have done."

The film's trailer introduces Abhishek as Arjun, a witty and humorous character navigating life's challenges. After receiving news of an impending life-altering surgery, Arjun embarks on a poignant journey of redemption, striving to make amends for past mistakes. This poignant storyline serves as a reminder of Irrfan Khan's lasting legacy, who passed away on April 29, 2020, after battling neuroendocrine cancer.

Abhishek Bachchan's upcoming film, "I Want To Talk," has been generating significant buzz, particularly due to his remarkable physical transformation for the role. The film's first poster, unveiled in October, featured Abhishek with a pot belly and surgery scar, sporting a robe and bright yellow-printed shorts. His expressive face, conveying a mix of amusement and exasperation, hinted at the film's unique blend of humor and poignancy.

At the music launch event, Abhishek candidly shared his experience with the physical transformation, confessing that it wasn't achieved through prosthetics. "Don't ever put on weight for a film again," he joked, adding, "Trust me, at my age, it gets very difficult to lose it after a while." This lighthearted remark underscored the challenges he faced in altering his physique for the role.

I Want To Talk boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Pearle Dey, Kristin Goodard, Jayant Kripalani, Johnny Lever, and Ahilya Bambroo. Produced by Shoojit Sircar and Ronnie Lahiri under Rising Sun Films and Kino Works, the film promises a captivating blend of humor, drama, and emotional depth. With its premiere scheduled for November 22, audiences eagerly await Abhishek's portrayal of Arjun, a role initially intended for the late Irrfan Khan. Despite the original casting, Abhishek has carried the role forward with finesse, making the film a highly anticipated cinematic experience.
