Kannada star Yash is currently one of the most popular actors in India after the massive success of his films 'KGF Chapters 1 & 2'. Fans are eager to know about his next projects and are excited to watch him on the big screen again. Yash recently announced his next movie 'Toxic' which will hit the theatres in 2025 and the makers are reportedly looking for the leading lady for the movie. It was earlier reported that Kareena Kapoor will be seen opposite Yash and the actress also revealed that she will soon do a big South India movie. As per the latest buzz, Kiara Advani will be seen opposite Yash in 'Toxic'.
According to a report by Times Now, Kiara will be seen as the leading lady in 'Toxic'. 'Animal' star Tripti Dimri was reportedly approached for the role but the role went to Kiara.
Directed by Geethu Mohandas, 'Toxic' will hit the theatres on April 10, 2025. The movie will be reportedly made on a high budget and will be an action drama. The plot of 'Toxic' has not been revealed yet but it will reportedly be set against the backdrop of the Goa drug cartel. It has been reported that Kareena Kapoor will be seen opposite Yash in 'Toxic.
On the work front, Kareena will be seen in the movie 'The Buckingham Murders', directed by ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The movie also stars Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen.
The official synopsis of 'The Buckingham Murders' reads, “Fresh wounds are reopened when Jasmeet Bhamra, a cop and single mother who recently lost her child in a shooting spree, transfers to High Wycombe and is assigned the case of a missing child. Director Hansal Mehta explores themes of trauma, closure and the immigrant experience with his signature sensitivity in this atmospheric thriller, featuring a career-best performance by Kapoor.”
It is written by Aseem Arora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker and produced by Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films alongside Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Kiara Advani was last seen in 'SatyaPrem Ki Katha' along with Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. She will next star in 'Don 3' along with Ranveer Singh.
