Odia Singer Humane Sagar Dies At 36, Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi Calls His Death ‘Irreparable Loss’

Odia singer Humane Sagar passed away at the age of 36 on November 17 at 9:08 pm. He was undergoing medical treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bhubaneshwar, where he breathed his last. According to a medical bulletin issued by the hospital, he was admitted to the hospital on Friday after being diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, acute on chronic liver failure (ACLF), multi-organ dysfunction syndrome and other complications.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi mourned Humane Sagar’s death and shared his condolences to  family. He tweeted, “I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of renowned playback singer Humane Sagar. His demise is an irreparable loss to our music and cinema. I convey my condolences to the bereaved family and pray to God for the peace of the departed soul. Om Shanti.”

LoP Naveen Patnaik also expressed his grief over the death of the musician. He wrote, “Along with praying for the eternal peace of his immortal soul, I convey my condolences to the bereaved family members during this sorrowful time.”

As reported by OdhishaTV, Humane Sagar‘s mother, Shefali Suna, made some serious allegations on Sagar’s manager and organisers. She said, “My son was used. He was forced to do the program even in a serious condition. Even when his condition was bad, they made my son do stage shows.” While demanding justice, she requested the authorities to investigate the role of the manager and organisers in the events leading up to her son’s collapse.
