'OMG 2' has finally been passed by the Censor Board, but the film has been asked to make multiple changes to scenes, delete scenes and add disclaimers to selected parts. The CBFC has given the Akshay Kumar-starrer film an A certificate after making over 27 cuts to the film.

According to a report in News 18, the changes include “modified the entire portrayal of the character Shiv ji and presented him as a devotee and messenger of God. Also added a dialogue ‘Nandi mere bhakt… Jo agya prabhu," deleted the ‘frontal nudity and suitably replaced with visual of Naga Sadhus’ and removed the ‘poster of Mood X condom on the billboard.’

The document, accessed by the publication, also revealed that 'OMG 2' has modified the mention of Ling and ‘the same is not used in isolation but as Shivling or Shiv, only wherever applicable.’

'OMG 2' stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam Dhar in the lead roles. The upcoming Indian Hindi language satirical comedy-drama film written and directed by Amit Rai. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 11, 2023.

On Tuesday, the producer himself confirmed that the film is all set to release alongside He took to his X account to confirm the same and wrote, “Happy to share #OMG2 is cleared and we are set for a release on 11th. No major cuts only some changes that are always part of a process. See you at the theatres soon.”

OMG 2 Receives 'A' Certification

According to a tweet by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the censor board has issued an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate to the film.
