Akshay Kumar and the team of ‘OMG 2’ recently arranged a special screening of the film at the serene Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. In the presence of the spiritual leader Sadhguru, Akshay Kumar’s film was appreciated and praised for its unique plotline by the spiritual guru, saying that ‘it is time to educate young people on how to handle their bodily needs.’ In another tweet, Sadhguru claimed that the film shouldn’t have received an ‘A’ certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification.
‘OMG 2’ will hit screens on August 11 and is directed by Amit Rai. The film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles. One of the major issues surrounding the film was Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Lord Shiva. Interestingly, it is Kumar’s first film in 12 years to get an adult-only certification.
After watching the film, Sadhguru reacted on ‘X’ and wrote, “'A’ Certificate in this case should include Adolescents. That’s where it matters most. Education about understanding human biology and responding to the biological needs of an individual in a dignified and responsible way is very needed to build a Nation that is Fair & Just to all involved. -Sg #OMG2.”

In the film, Akshay Kumar will essay the role of a messenger of Lord Shiva. The satirical comedy-drama is a sequel to the 2012 hit film ‘OMG-Oh My God.’ The film is produced by Cape of Good Films, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D Shah, and Rajesh Bahl.
