Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi led 'OMG 2' is one of the most awaited films of 2023. It is the sequel to 2012 hit film 'OMG- Oh My God's starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. After a gap of 11 years, the film's second installment is ready to hit theaters on August 11 and will be facing a smashing box office clash with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer 'Gadar 2.'
The official trailer of 'OMG 2' was released on Thursday by the makers with the lead actor of the film, Akshay Kumar sharing the same on his Instagram handle. On Wednesday, the actor announced the release of the trailer to be on August 2. However due to the sudden demise of Bollywood's renowned director Nitin Desai, it was postponed to August 3.

In the trailer, Pankaj Tripathi can be seen essaying the role of a common man and a father seeking justice for his son. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar can be seen portraying the role of a messenger sent by God, and guides Pankaj Tripathi's character, acting like a mentor to him.
Pankaj Tripathi's perfect comic timing with a captivating chemistry between the two gets more interesting with the entry of Yami Gautam as a strict and hot-headed lawyer. The actress is set to play the role of the antagonist and will be seen locking horns with Pankaj Tripathi in the film.

The satirical comedy entertainer is produced by Cape of Good Films, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl, and Ashwin Varde. The film will face a tough competition at the box office with big releases in the same week including 'Gadar 2', 'Bholaa Shankar', and 'Jailer.'
