Abhishek Bachchan was recently seen discussing his views on critics and how his perspective on them has changed over the years. The actor has confessed that during the early days of his career, he felt that the critics did not comprehend his work, but now he has understood the value of the feedback he has been receiving as an actor in the industry.

At the start of his journey, Abhishek felt that critics were not able to judge his performances correctly. As quoted by ANI, Abhishek said during Critic choice award 2026, “I felt critics didn’t understand my work or weren’t qualified to judge it.”

Abhishek admitted that he was in denial during this period and used to ignore critics instead of learning from them.

Change In Perspective

However, over the years, Abhishek’s views have changed completely. Abhishek now thinks that criticism is an integral part of being in the industry. Abhishek shared, “Only a fool would ignore that,” while talking about feedback. As Abhishek explained, “When people spend their time and money on your movies, you owe them.”

Abhishek Bachchan Sees Critics As Guides Now 

The actor also revealed that he now views critics as helpful voices rather than opponents. He also believes that critics can help artists become better at their craft. He revealed that even if one feels that they are doing well in their craft, critics’ voices are always helpful in getting better.
