O’Romeo Teaser Out: Shahid Kapoor has surprised fans by dropping the first teaser of his upcoming film O’Romeo, a gritty revenge romance directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj. The teaser offers a powerful glimpse into a world filled with passion, pain and violence, instantly sparking curiosity among cinema lovers. The film is set to release in theatres on February 13, 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Week.

In the teaser, Shahid Kapoor appears in a fierce and unconventional look. Sporting full-body tattoos, a cowboy hat, a black vest and heavy jewellery, the actor steps into the role of a brutal, love-struck Romeo driven by rage and heartbreak. His character is shown as intense, unpredictable and deeply emotional, suggesting a layered performance that explores obsession and loss. The teaser ends on a softer note, showing Shahid’s character gazing lovingly at Triptii Dimri, hinting at a tragic love story at the heart of the film.

O’Romeo marks Shahid Kapoor’s fourth collaboration with Vishal Bhardwaj, following critically acclaimed films like Kaminey and Haider. Inspired by true events, the film promises a bold and emotionally intense narrative that blends love with vengeance. Set against the backdrop of unrequited love, O’Romeo stars Triptii Dimri opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film explores themes of passion, denial and the irreversible consequences of love that is rejected.
