Oru Jaathi Jathakam Cast and Plot

M Mohanan directed the film, while Rakesh Mantodi penned the script, with Sharesh Malayankandy as the co-writer. Backed by Maha Subair, Oru Jaathi Jathakam stars Vineeth Sreenivasan, Nikhila Vimal, Babu Antony, Kayadu Lohar, Isha Talwar, Pooja Mohanraj, and Mridul Nair in pivotal roles. Set in Northern Malabar, the film centers around Jayesh (played by Vineeth Sreenivasan), a man in his 30s who is eager to get married but struggles to find a prospective bride who meets all his criteria. During his journey, he finds faults in women due to his unrealistic expectations for his future wife. Even when the horoscopes match, he faces various challenges in finding the perfect match. He seeks help from his family and friends, continuing his search. The narrative takes an unexpected turn as doubts about the main character's sexuality arise, referencing the LGBTQ+ community. His journey unfolds with humor, dark comedy, self-discovery, and chaos.

Viswajith Odukkathil handled the cinematography, while Ranjan Abraham took care of the editing. Guna Balasubramanian composed the music for the film.
