Oscar 2024 Nominated Movies To Watch On OTT: The award season has officially kickstarted and the audience is eagerly looking forward to watching which movies and actors will bag the honours. 2023 was one of the best years for cinema as the audience witnessed some of the biggest blockbusters in theatres and excellent performances by several artists. Blockbusters including 'Oppenheimer', 'Barbie', 'Poor Things', and 'Past Lives' have dominated the nomination list in several categories. Ahead of Oscars 2024, take a look at where you can watch the nominees in the Best Picture category on the OTT platform.

1. American Fiction

'American Fiction' revolves around Monk, who is a frustrated novelist frustrated with the establishment that profits from Black entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes. He writes his own Black book under a pen name. The movie is based on the 2001 novel 'Erasure' by Percival Everett and stars Jeffrey Wright, Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, Sterling K. Brown, John Ortiz, Erika Alexander, Leslie Uggams, Adam Brody, and Keith David. The movie is streaming on Prime Video.

2. Anatomy Of A Fall

'Anatomy Of A Fall' focuses on a woman, who is suspected of her husband's murder and their blind son becomes the sole witness. The movie stars Sandra Hüller in the lead role with Swann Arlaud, Milo Machado-Graner, Antoine Reinartz, Samuel Theis, Jehnny Beth, Saadia Bentaieb, Camille Rutherford, Anne Rotger, and Sophie Fillières seen in pivotal roles. The movie is currently running in theatres.

3. Barbie

'Barbie' stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Barbie and Ken respectively with Issa Rae, Alexandra Shipp, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey Nicola Coughlan, Dua Lipa, Kate McKinnon, Hari Nef, Sharon Rooney, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and Scott Evans, among others in supporting roles. The movie revolves around Barbie and Ken, who are living their best lives in the Barbie. Things take a turn when they see the joys and sorrows of human lives. The movie is streaming on JioCinema and Prime Video.

4. The Holdovers

'The Holdovers' focuses on a curmudgeonly instructor at a New England prep school, who decides to stay at the campus during Christmas break to babysit some students. He forms a bond with the school's head cook, who lost a son in the Vietnam War. The movie is currently running in theatres. It stars Paul Giamatti, Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Dominic Sessa in the lead roles.

5. Killers Of The Flower Moon

'Killers Of The Flower Moon' focuses on Mollie Burkhart, a member of the Osage Nation, who tries to save her community from a spree of murders caused by oil and greed. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro and Lily Gladstone in the lead roles with Jesse Plemons, Tantoo Cardinal, John Lithgow and Brendan Fraser. It is streaming on Apple TV+.

6. Maestro

'Maestro' is a biographical drama and focuses on the life of American conductor Leonard Bernstein, who begins a relationship with actress Felicia Montealegre. Directed by Bradley Cooper, the movie stars Bradley Cooper, Carey Mulligan, Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, and Sarah Silverman. The movie is streaming on Netflix.

7. Oppenheimer

Based on the 2005 biography 'American Prometheus' by Kai Bird and Martin J Sherwin, the movie tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who played an important role in developing the first nuclear weapons as part of the Manhattan Project. 'Oppenheimer' stars Cillian Murphy in the titular role with Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek and Kenneth Branagh in pivotal roles. The movie will release on JioCinema on March 21.

8. Poor Things

'Poor Things' revolves around a young woman, who has been brought back to life by an unorthodox scientist. She runs off a lawyer on a whirlwind adventure and finds her purpose in standing up for equality and liberation. The movie stars Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef, Christopher Abbott, and Jerrod Carmichael. The movie is streaming on Prime Video.

9. Past Lives

'Past Lives' focuses on Nora and Hae Sung, who are childhood friends but lose touch after Nora leaves South Korea. They are reunited decades later as they talk about love, fate and choices. Directed by Celine Song, the movie stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro in the lead roles. It is streaming on Prime Video.

10. The Zone Of Interest

'The Zone Of Interest' focuses on Rudolf Höss, who is the commandant of Auschwitz, and his wife as they try to build a dream life next to the Auschwitz concentration camp. The movie stars Christian Friedel and Sandra Hüller in the lead roles. The movie is not available to watch in India.
