Bakasura Restaurant OTT Release: Praveen B and Harsha Chemudu starrer Telugu horror comedy movie released in theatres on August 8. The film received mixed responses from the audience and the critics. Bakasura Restaurant could not perform at the box office, but after a month of theatrical release, the film is set to release on OTT in just a few days. What Is The Plot Of Bakasura Restaurant?

The movie revolves around a wish made by five youngsters, who leads them to unveil a supernatural force lurking around them. The movie stars Praveen B, Janardhan Achari, Lakshmaiah Achari, Amar, Krishna Bhagavan, Harsha Chemudu, Vivek Dandu, Viva Harsha, Srikanth Iyengar, Jai Krishna, Jaya Krishna, Ram Patas, Shining Phani, Praveen, Garuda Ram, Ramya, Jabardasth Appa Rao, Tenali Shakuntala and Prachi Thakur in key roles. It has been written by Sai Dhamari and SJ Shiva. The film has been directed by SJ Shiva. The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 38 minutes.

Talking about casting Praveen B as hero, director SJ Shiva told Industry Hit, “Initially, we discussed the film with other heroes. But they all said they only do solo-hero films. This story doesn’t fit that format. Around the same time, we heard that Praveen was planning to debut as a lead actor. We met him, narrated the story – it’s a comedy centered around five bachelors – and as soon as he heard it, he said, “The story is the hero, let’s do it..”

He opened about the film, “Bakasura Entertainment” is a hunger comedy entertainer. Telugu cinema has explored many genres, but this is a new one, introduced through our film. It’s a food-loving ghost story, and the comedy stems from that – hence, we call it hunger comedy. Ultimately, our aim is to entertain the audience.”
