Coolie OTT Release:  Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna starrer action thriller movie has been receiving warm responses from the audience as it hit the screens today. The film has been buzzing over social media as Rajinikanth’s fans could be seen celebrating with drums and flowers outside theatres before catching the first show. Seeing the craze online and as per Box office prediction reports, the movie is expected to have a good opening. It has already surpassed Rs 100 crore worldwide in advance booking. Amid the release, there has been buzz about its OTT platform as well.

As per several media reports, the digital rights of Coolie have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The film will be arriving on the platform after its completion of theatrical windows and is expected to be released in late September.

Coolie is a story of a man who relentlessly pursues vengeance since his youth. He wants to do all the right things and shape his existence. The movie stars Rajinikanth as Devaraj/Deva, Nagarjuna as Simon Xavier, Soubin Shahir as Dayalan/Dayal, Upendra as Kaleesha, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, Sathyaraj as Rajasekar, Aamir Khan as Dahaa and Rachita Ram as Kalyani Dayalan. The story, screenplay and direction were done by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The big banner film has been backed by Kalanithi Maran. As per reports, the movie has been made on a budget of around Rs 350 to 400 crore. The cinematography has been done by Girish Gangadharan. Coolie has a runtime of 170 minutes. Well, War 2 has been released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi languages on August 14. It faced a massive box office clash with Hrithik Roshan’s War 2.
