Criminal Justice Season 5: Pankaj Tripathi will return as the beloved lawyer Madhav Mishra in the fifth season of the hit courtroom drama Criminal Justice. Following the popularity of the fourth season, fans are excitedly awaiting the next installment. With Season 5 currently in production, the intense courtroom drama solidifies its standing as a premier series for Indian over-the-top (OTT) platforms.

Criminal Justice Season 4 starred Asha Negi as Roshni Saluja, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub as Dr. Raj Nagpal, Surveen Chawla as Anju Nagpal (Raj's wife), Khushi Bharadwaj as Ira, Raj, and Anju's daughter and Pankaj Tripathi as lawyer Madhav Mishra. 

Criminal Justice Season 4 revolved around finding the killer of nurse Roshni. She was a nurse who cared for Raj's daughter, Ira, suffering from Asperger's syndrome. Roshni and Raj, meanwhile, grew close over time. He discovered that Roshni was envious of Raj's estranged wife, Anju because he was not publicly acknowledging his relationship with her or divorcing his wife. In rage, she tried to poison Raj and Anju's daughter. When Anju was first arrested on murder charges, Madhav found out that Dr. Raj Nagpal was the one who killed his lover, Roshini.

Criminal Justice Season 5 Confirmed?

Criminal Justice Season 5 makers have reportedly already begin working on the script, and the new mystery-solving involving 'Madhav Mishra' should be finished in two to three months, as per a report by BollywoodShaadis. The sources also revealed that Season 5 will begin filming in September 2025 and last through October 2025, with the next season expected to premiere in July 2026.

In the meantime, the cast and crew of Criminal Justice came together to celebrate the fantastic response. The success celebration was held the day after the final episode of the courtroom drama aired. When the show received overwhelmingly positive reviews, the cast joyfully celebrated. The cast of the show gathered at a posh restaurant in Mumbai on July 5th for the Criminal Justice success bash.
