Daksha OTT Release: Manchu Lakshmi’s latest crime thriller Daksha is all set to make its digital premiere. After its theatrical release on September 19, 2025, the film is now gearing up for its OTT debut, giving fans another chance to experience this gripping police drama from the comfort of their homes. Directed by Vamsi Krishna Malla, Daksha stars Manchu Lakshmi in the lead role as a strong and determined police officer.
Daksha movie will stream on Amazon Prime Video on October 17, 2025. The movie didn’t perform as well as expected at the box office, but the makers are hopeful that it will find a wider audience through streaming. Announcing the OTT release, Manchu Lakshmi shared the news on her social media platforms, along with a new poster celebrating the film’s arrival on Prime Video. “Happy Diwali to all of us,” she wrote, hinting that the film’s digital premiere will serve as a festive treat for thriller lovers. Produced by Srilakshmi Prasanna Pictures and Manchu Entertainment, Daksha also features a special appearance by Mohan Babu. The supporting cast includes Samuthirakani, Rangasthalam Mahesh, Viswanth Duddumpudi, and Malayalam actor Sidhique, each playing key roles in the story.

Daksha Movie Plot
The film revolves around CI Daksha, played by Manchu Lakshmi, who investigates a mysterious death at a container yard in Hyderabad. As she begins to connect the dots, another shocking murder takes place and this time involving a representative from an American pharmaceutical company. The two incidents share similar clues, leading Daksha to suspect a larger and more dangerous criminal network at play. Meanwhile, journalist Suresh (played by Gemini Suresh) follows Daksha’s journey to create a documentary on her work but soon finds himself entangled in the dark truths of the case. As the investigation progresses, Daksha is unexpectedly removed from the case, and forensic expert Vikram (Viswanth Duddumpudi) steps in to take charge. Together with psychiatrist Vishwamitra, they work towards uncovering the real culprits behind the crimes.
With its engaging storyline, powerful performances, and a sharp focus on police investigation, Daksha is set to entertain crime thriller fans when it premieres on OTT this Diwali.
