Following its theatrical run, Dear Uma is now set to reach a wider audience as it begins streaming on Sun NXT on June 13, 2025. The OTT platform shared the announcement with a heartfelt poster and captioned it, "Love that outlives life itself… Dev & Uma’s soulful love begins June 13… Dear UMA streaming from June 13 on Sun NXT." This digital release is expected to give the film a second life, allowing viewers who missed its cinema release to experience its emotional narrative.

Telugu Movie Dear Uma Cast and Crew 

The movie stars Pruthvi Ambaar and Sumaya Reddy in lead roles, supported by Kamal Kamaraju, Saptagiri, Ajay Ghosh, Rajeev Kanakala, and Prudhvi Raj. The movie is directed by Sai Rajesh Mahadev, based on a story penned by Sumaya Reddy herself. Music by Radhan beautifully complements the narrative, enhancing the emotional moments and the intensity of the story.

Dear Uma movie follows the story of Dev, a passionate aspiring rock star who finds himself emotionally broken and struggling with alcoholism after a failed relationship and strained family ties. On the other hand, Uma is a dedicated medical student who has worked her way into one of the top medical colleges. Their worlds collide when Dev suffers a heart injury while heroically saving a girl and ends up in the hospital where Uma is training.
