Going with the hype surrounding Netflix's Shaque, I decided to binge-watch the series itself. What initially seemed like a slow-burn thriller turned into a story that left me questioning some of its key narrative choices. Here are 5 of the biggest narrative loopholes in the show.

5 loopholes I discovered in Shaque

The investigation failure

The police failed to solve the case of Anvita's missing daughter from over eight long years. However, I could not understand the fact that despite so many clues, especially the photos sent to the parents every year, the police failed to trace the kidnappers.

The public Instagram account

In a glaring technical blunder, Anvita sends a following request to a profile page that the screen clearly displays as already public.

The newborn baby's appearance

I found it hard to believe that the baby shown in Shaque was a 'new born'. The baby looked more like a few months old, making the portrayal feel rather unconvincing.

The Delayed CCTV Footage Discovery

Officer Khurana gets access to the missing hospital CCTV footage early on but somehow completely fails to notice a critical breakthrough detail until the plot conveniently requires him to years later.

The incomplete finale

Shaque has multiple subplots like a saas-bahu conflict, illegal surrogacy, child trafficking and black magic simply to throw off the audience. By the finale, many of these elements are completely dropped.

According to me, the makers should have given a proper exit to these side characters to make it look better.
