Isakapatnam OTT Release: The highly anticipated Telugu crime-thriller web series Isakapatnam has finally arrived on the digital screen. Set against a gritty retro backdrop, the show plunges viewers into a dark world of port politics, illegal trade, and intense family rivalries.

Isakapatnam officially started streaming on the global OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on July 2, 2026. The seven-episode thriller series is available to watch in its original Telugu language, alongside dubbed versions in Tamil and Hindi for a wider audience.

Immediately upon its digital release, Isakapatnam began receiving a positive to mixed response from viewers on social media.

Audiences are praising the show's dark, atmospheric tension and sharp writing. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one viewer rated the series 3.25/5 stars, while another user shared, "A gripping 90s crime thriller! The screenplay is absolutely riveting, blending port politics with a revenge-driven gangster saga."

Isakapatnam Plot

The plot of Isakapatnam is set in a ruthless, volatile coastal port town during the 1990s. The narrative revolves around a powerful and feared crime lord named Naidu, who rose from humble fishing disputes to build a massive illegal smuggling empire. Because of his strict and violent rule, the entire region lives in absolute fear of him.

However, his criminal kingdom faces an intense battle from multiple sides as three different forces collide to take him down:

  • The fiercest challenge comes from within his own family. Naidu's daughter, Bharathi, is an NGO leader who completely despises her father's violent methods and fights to bring true justice to the town.
  • A close henchman named Soori finds himself dangerously stuck between his moral values and his lifelong loyalty to Naidu's throne.
  • Alongside them, an upright police official and a common man hungry for revenge join the conspiracy. Their paths eventually cross in a dangerous alliance to dismantle Naidu’s entire empire.

Isakapatnam Cast

The Telugu web series brings together a highly talented ensemble cast from the South Indian film industry:

  • Samuthirakani as Naidu (the ruthless port don)
  • Aishwarya Rajesh as Bharathi (Naidu's rebellious daughter)
  • Sunil Varma as the upright police officer
  • Naresh Agastya as Soori

The supporting cast features Merin Philip, Sudhakar Komakula, Rajeev Kanakala, Rohini, and Raja Chembolu. The web series is produced under the banner of Tamada Media Productions by Rahul Tamada and Saideep Reddy Borra. The series is directed by Garry BH and written by Prashanth Ragathi, with dialogues penned by Tajuddin Syed.
