Lal Salaam OTT Release Update: Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth starrer Tamil sports action drama hit the silver screens on February 9, 2024. The film had several OTT premiere dates last year, but every time it was never released. After a year of theatrical release, Lal Salaam is finally set to for its digital debut. Sun NXT has bought the digital rights of Rajinikanth starrer Tamil movie. As per reports, Lal Salaam is set to release on the OTT platform on June 6 (Friday) on the occasion of Eid al-Adha in 2025. On the other hand, the streaming platform shared an intriguing teaser without revealing anything about the movie. Fans guessed it as Lal Salaam. Sun NXT tweeted, “Stay tuned & Guess who’s firing up the screen this Bakrid?” Seeing the teaser, fans started commenting on the post. A user said, “Lal salaam finally on ott.” Another said, “Laal salaam yethey.” A comment read, “LAAL SALAM.” Another comment read, “Lalsalaam finally.”

The plot revolves around aspiring cricketers who have been kicked out of their local team despite being extraordinary players. They had to deal and take it as a challenge to fulfil their dreams. Lal Salaam features Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Dhanya Balakrishna, Nirosha, Indumathy Manikandan, Senthil and Thambi Ramaiah in key roles. It has been directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah. According to reports, the film was made on a budget of Rs 80 to 90 crore. Lal Salaam had a box office collection of Rs 17.74 crore in India and Rs 31.25 crore worldwide.
