Straw (Netflix)
Tyler Perry’s latest thriller movie which is headlined by Taraji P Henson is all set to stream online with a captivating storyline of a single mother and her daughter. The movie revolves around Janiyah, a single mother's world crumbles as she struggles to care for her sick daughter, facing a series of catastrophic events that highlight the lack of support and resources in her society. Apart from Taraji P Henson in the lead, Straw movie also stars Sherri Shepherd, Teyana Taylor, Sinbad, Rockmond Dunbar, Ashley Versher, Mike Merrill and Glynn Turma. It is available to stream on OTT giant Netflix from June 6.

Parthenope (Max)
The movie unfolds the journey of a young woman born in 1950 to the present day in the sea of Naples. This cinematic journey takes us through her formative years, capturing the essence of her experiences and the way she navigates her place in the world. The poignant reflection on the interplay between how we perceive others, how they perceive us, and how we perceive ourselves, set against the backdrop of her life journey. Celeste Della Porta embodies the titular character in Paolo Sorrentino directorial alongside Stefania Sandrelli, Gary Oldman, Silvio Orlando, Luisa Ranieri, Peppe Lanzetta and Isabella Ferrari.
Parthenope was premiered at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on 21 May 2024. It made its theatrical debut earlier this year. The viewers can access it on Max from June 6, as per Variety report.
Love Me (Paramount+)
The science fiction romance film starring Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun, helmed by Sam Zuchero and Andy Zuchero. In a post-human world, a buoy and a satellite form an unlikely online bond, exploring Earth's past to discover their own identities and the essence of life and love. Through a captivating blend of live-action and animation, their romance unfolds as an intimate, epic journey of transformation from machines to humans, spanning billions of years. The Accountant 2 (Amazon Prime Video)
Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal and Cynthia Addai-Robinson starrer The Accountant 2, which is a sequel to the action thriller The Accountant, turned out to be a success upon its release on April 25, 2025. After its theatrical run, it made its debut on June 5 on Amazon Prime Video. The follow-up movie centres around forensic accountant Christian Wolff who teams with his estranged brother to investigate mysterious assassins.
