This upcoming series draws inspiration from investigative journalist Anirudhya Mitra's bestselling book, Ninety Days. The Hunt stars Amit Sial, Sahil Vaid, Bhagavathi Perumal and others. The Hunt The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case Trailer

Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor and co-written with Rohit Banawalikar and Sriram Rajan. The trailer of the series was released by SonyLIV on Instagram handle. The clip opens with news of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's assassination and explores the high-stakes investigation into the matter. The series will delve into a complex web of espionage, shifting allegiances, intelligence failures, and the profound human toll of seeking justice.

Following Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984, Rajiv Gandhi assumed leadership of the Congress party and became India's youngest Prime Minister at 40, serving from October 1984 to December 1989. Born August 20, 1944, his life was cut short in a tragic assassination by an LTTE suicide bomber at an election rally in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, on May 21, 1991.

The series boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Amit Sial as DR Kaarthikeyan (SIT Chief), Sahil Vaid as Amit Verma (SP-CBI), Bhagavathi Perumal as Ragothaman (DSP-CBI), Danish Iqbal as Amod Kanth (DIG-CBI), Girish Sharma as Radhavinod Raju (DIG-CBI), and Vidyut Garg as Capt. Ravindran (NSG Commando). The talented lineup also includes Shafeeq Mustafa, Anjana Balaji, B Sai Dinesh, Shruthy Jayan, Gouri Menon and more.
