Rajkummar Rao is set to enthral the audience with his action-packed avatar in the movie Maalik. He will be portraying a gangster for the first time in this crime drama. Ever since the release of the teaser, the movie has created a buzz, especially with rumours of Rajkummar's reunion with Huma Qureshi after Monica O My Darling. She is expected to make a special appearance in a dance number. According to the latest reports, the actress did not charge a single penny for the song in Maalik. Huma Qureshi's Special Appearance In Maalik
According to reports, Huma didn't charge a fee due to her friendship with the actor and the film's producer. "The item number Huma shot is truly one of the highlights of Maalik. The moment she heard the track, she was excited to be a part of it. The song is an upbeat, high-energy number that she connected with. Huma shot this song without charging a single penny, purely out of friendship with the producer Jay Shewakramani and Rajkummar Rao," informed source quoted by Filmfare.
However, shining through with her dedication, Huma shot for 16 hours on the last day of her schedule for Maalik.

About Maalik Movie: Apart from Rajkummar, the action movie stars Manushi Chhillar in lead roles along with Medha Shankr, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Swanand Kirkire and Anshumaan Pushkar.
The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on July 11, 2025. The film is helmed by Pulkit and brought to life by Tips Films and Northern Lights Films, with Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani at the helm as producers.

Before this project, Rajkummar was seen in the comedy movie Bhool Chuk Maaf opposite Wamiqa Gabbi. He also has a mystery-comedy Toaster. Netflix film also features Sanya Malhotra and is directed by Vivek Das Chaudhary.
